25 Great Scholarships for Engineering Majors

Engineers hold positions with a peculiar paradoxical aspect. Performed in obscurity, their work is vital to the security of the public by whose eyes it is unseen. Indeed, without experts with specialized training in maintaining invisible yet indispensable infrastructures, the world would literally collapse instantly.

That physical dynamic is also a fiscal dilemma for aspiring engineers without funds for higher education to develop great their talent to its fullest extent. Luckily, many contributors wait to help brilliant scholars with desires for higher learning about turning mental envisioning into solid forms. Would-be builders of tomorrow’s foundations can begin realizing their dreams today with financial backing of the great scholarships for engineering majors we’ve compiled below.

The contemporary English term “engineering” is a derivative of 13th-century Latin’s “ingeniun,” that literally means “innate quality, especially mental.., … clever invention.” For aspiring engineers, that linguistic origin should be a point of pride that inspires persistent efforts to fund higher education via application of creative innovation that exhibits its utmost worthiness.
