25 Great Scholarships for Science Majors

Every day, technologies that were once regarded as science fiction are becoming science fact. Thanks to the brilliant minds of scientists and engineers around the world, and the universities that gave them the fundamental knowledge they needed, society now has the artificial heart, microprocessors smaller than the width of a human hair, and genetically engineered seeds and fertilizer that could one day end widespread food shortages around the world. These technological advances have historically come at a steep personal cost to those who make them, but fortunately, remarkable individuals and organizations offer myriad scholarships for science majors  to help lessen the burden and open the door to opportunity for society as a whole. Here, we review 25 of the best of them.
