25 Great Scholarships for Health Informatics

Scholarships for health informatics can lower your tuition costs with free money for pursuing a degree in this in-demand field.

Health informatics is focused on the design, application, and improvement of IT innovations in medical delivery systems. Since the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, healthcare providers are required to utilize electronic health records (EHRs) for greater efficiency. This has created a surging need in health informatics as jobs grow much faster-than-average by 15 percent. Earning this degree could qualify you for titles like health informatics specialist, clinical informatics manager, clinical data analyst, informatics nurse, and health information director. The CAHIIM has accredited 335 programs nationwide for excellent HIT education either on-campus or online.

Take advantage of the following undergraduate and graduate health informatics scholarships to make your training affordable.
